Storozhenko Yuriy was born in 1970 in Ukraine. Till 1995 young man was searching his own way in life and field where he can perceive himself as well as develop his potential and skills. Finally, he understood that ceramics is exactly what he was looking for. Thus, during the last 9 years Yuriy is dealing with ceramics at the professional level. At the moment he is a member of Ukranian Craftsmen Union. His art works are kept in the private collections of East and West Europe, America and Canada.
"I was always wondered about human mysterious attraction to ornaments. Ceramics is an old "alive" material which has large number of vivid opportunities. It allows me to create stylish, and creative ornaments for nowaday people. I am trying to reflect my own sensual and emotional perception of the world, love to nature, to mystery and harmony. My artistic credo: to create art works that can make even me feel joy, wonder or learn something new. I really believe that creativity is the mysterious communication language due to which people perceive themselves and the surrounding world"
